We are looking for a full-time garden machinery mechanic to assist with servicing and repairing all types of garden and estate machinery, must be experienced within this trade or worked with similar small engine products. The successful applicant will be required to work on own initiative without supervision, giving regard to time and costs. Must be computer literate and be able to interpret parts lists and identify parts requirement for jobs. Will need to ‘muck-in’ when we are busy, answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquiries. Will require own basic tools, specialist tools are provided. Salary commensurate with experience and bonus scheme in operation after qualifying period.
Skills:
- Experience working with small engines
- Experience working on garden & estate machinery preferred
- Computer literate
- Able to talk to customers and deal with enquiries
- Be able to work unsupervised
Hours:
- Weekdays 8am-5pm
- Saturday mornings 8am-1pm during busy season
- Alternate Saturdays during quiet season if required
Salary:
- Commensurate with experience
- Bonus scheme in operation after qualifying period
